2028 OLYMPICS
INTERNATIONAL GOLF INSTRUCTOR
THE FULL STORY
Born and Raised in an underdeveloped country like Myanmar, one thing I learn was hard work create opportunities.
My parents were a big part of my journey, they created opportunities for my siblings and I regardless of how much they had. As a 16 years old, after convincing my parents, I came to United States to create bigger opportunities, and to pursue my dream of golf.
Playing on the National Team wasn't enough for me so I came to International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) where I was exposed to better competitions and better resources. And I used it to the best of my abilities, played competitively, and became the first golfer to receive scholarship to play in Division I Golf Team from Myanmar.
My drive and perseverance helped me succeed in Indiana University. Where I learnt skills on and off the course. But I never forgot where I came from and the impact my journey had, I knew my dream was bigger than professional golf.
In college, not only did I helped Indiana University succeed on the course like making to nationals or wining team events, I also helped IUWG made an impact in the community by involving in organizations like Executive Board of Student Athlete Advisory Committee where I serve as a leader for our community, which inspired me to continue to do so even after I graduated.
I am now pursuing that dream of professional golf while teaching golf part-time with beginners and juniors, and supporting myself through working as International Advisor for Myanmar Golf Federation and Events pro at BackSwing Golf Events.
